British drum and bass band Rudimental Reveals New Single “Be The One” Featuring MORGAN and Digga D & Tike
Rudimental are Teaming up with Major Toms signees MORGAN and TIKE, as well as breakout drill rapper, Digga D – himself a star of recent BBC Three documentary, ‘Defending Digga D’ – “Be The One” forms a natural extension of the crisp, bubbling sound the band first tapped into with “Come Over.”
Rudimental blueprint – everything from drum & bass to rave to garage – recent collaborations with The Martinez Brothers (Sitigawana), Preditah, Netsky, Hot Since 82, Elderbrook, and some previous single, “Krazy” With Afronaut Zu, “Come Over,” have seen the band return to their roots in dance music. Rudimental also recently produced Nines’ ‘Airplane Mode’ ft. NSG lifted from his UK #1 album, ‘Crabs In A Bucket,’ and collaborated with Raye on her electric new single, ‘Regardless’ – a nod to how versatile their music-making credentials remain.
The new single “Be The One” itself fizzes with warm, soulful UK Garage charm, amplified by MORGAN – fresh from releasing her debut EP, ‘Alien,’ and collaborations with the likes of Ebenezer, Cadenza and 169 – and her searing vocals, TIKE’s smooth, auto-tuned licks and Digga D’s guest verse, which follows his recent UK Top 25 singles, “Chingy (It’s Whatever)” and “Woi.”

Major Toms record label has also continued to go from strength-to-strength over the last 18 months, welcoming new signings MORGAN and rising young star TIKE to the camp – both of whom feature on today’s release. They join Anne-Marie, Ella Henderson and Renell Shaw on the label’s rapidly expanding roster.
“Be The One” marks the latest exciting primer to Rudimental’s upcoming fourth studio album and first since ‘Toast To Our Differences,’ which boasted 2018’s biggest-selling UK single in “These Days” ft. Macklemore, Jess Glynne & Dan Caplen – a track that has since clocked over 1 billion streams worldwide.
