Young Thug Gives Us a Little Taste of Upcoming Album “Punk” with his brand new single “Tick Tock“
First premiered by Thug at Rolling Loud Miami in July 2021 during his iconic set, the official release of ‘Tick Tock’ follows Young Thug’s critically acclaimed Tiny Desk (Home) Concert where he performed the track with a live band.
Filled with new ideas and possibilities, this new realm makes the impossible possible, literally going out with the old and in with the new, with Thug posing the question of what it means to be ‘punk’ in today’s world.
Thugger grew his very own custom pink iPhone, matching his pink tree and Lamborghini, celebrating not only the track, but also his new and iconic PUNK aesthetic.
This month, Thugger celebrated turning thirty with a house party in his home city of Atlanta, appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and released his Tiny Desk (Home) Concert, where he astounded viewers everywhere as he previewed new music from PUNK, signalling a new era for him both sonically and aesthetically.
In 2020, he achieved fourteen Billboard charting hits with no album release and released records by artists including Gunna and Lil Keed through Young Stoner Life Records, of which he is the Founder and CEO.
In addition to hitting #1 on the Billboard charts with Slime Language 2 the album, and owning multiple hugely successful businesses, Thug continues to challenge and redefine the boundaries of culture in his vision of the future.
