XIE shares her new “Kick Drum Heart” EP via Lady of the House, mixing tech, Latin, and UK house.
Rising LA-based artist XIE has released her new EP Kick Drum Heart, out now via Lady of the House. Fusing Tech House, UK House, and Latin House, the EP is a sonic celebration of connection, rhythm, and the emotional release that dancefloors bring.
The EP includes the previously-released singles “LOVE LANGUAGE” and “Siente El Ritmo,” and reflects XIE’s personal journey with house music. “These songs are all about my obsession and personal relationship with house music,” she shares. “It’s about how music is such a saving grace in my everyday life, and how it feels when the beat is bumping through your body.”
With a background as a classically trained violist and a lyrical edge as a singer-songwriter, XIE brings both precision and emotion to her production. Her sound is playful yet powerful, with bright melodies and irresistible beats that hit as hard on streaming platforms as they do in a packed club.
XIE’s reputation as a performer has landed her on stages at Coachella’s DoLaB, HARD Summer, Miami Music Week, and EDC Las Vegas. In 2023, she released “C’est La Vie” and “Birds In Paradise” via Thrive Music, further showcasing her range and creativity.
