Viola Odette Harlow releases “P*rn Star”, an eclectic electro-pop album, alongside the video for “Imaginary Friend”. Listen now via Play Girl Records.
Viola Odette Harlow, the genre-blurring artist formerly known as Glüme, unveils her latest album “P*rn Star”, out now via Play Girl Records. The release is accompanied by the official video for “Imaginary Friend”, a deeply personal single that explores themes of loss, identity, and resilience.
Blending electro-pop, synth-pop, and indie-pop, “P*rn Star” is an evocative journey through Viola’s sonic universe. The album is rich with dreamy textures and emotional storytelling, making it one of her most compelling projects yet.
“‘”P*rn Star” is a fairy tale, a tragedy, and a love story,’” Viola shares. “‘It’s about finding strength in the face of misunderstanding and choosing kindness, even when the world is against you.’”
Her latest single, “Imaginary Friend”, contemplates alternate realities and the pursuit of self-acceptance. “‘I used to wonder if changing my past could have saved me from illness, but I’ve realized that every experience—good and bad—has made me who I am,’” she explains.
Adding to her artistic expansion, Viola will also release her debut book, “No One Famous Has It Yet”, on March 31.
Stream “P*rn Star” now and watch the video for “Imaginary Friend” on all platforms.
