Country artist Vincent Mason releases “Waitin’ on You to Wear Off,” a moving song about heartbreak and healing.
Vincent Mason, the rising star from Interscope/UMG Nashville/Music Soup, has just released his emotional new single, “Waitin’ on You to Wear Off,” now streaming everywhere. The song showcases Mason’s ability to channel raw emotions into relatable, heartfelt music.
Written by Mason alongside Jack Hummel and Colton Venner, the track reflects on the lingering pain of a breakup and the hope that healing, though slow, is inevitable. It’s a powerful anthem for anyone navigating the complex feelings of love and loss. “I had such a clear vision of how I wanted this song to feel,” Mason says of his hands-on role in the production. “It just felt like the perfect time of year for it.”
This release builds on Mason’s streak of emotional heartbreak anthems, following hits like “Hell is a Dance Floor,” which garnered over 75 million streams. His catalog also includes fan favorites like “Heart Like This,” “Train of Thought,” and his debut EP, Can’t Just Be Me.
In addition to new music, Mason is preparing for his first headline tour, the “Hell Is A Dance Floor Tour,” which sold out during presales. He’ll also join Riley Green on the “Damn Country Music Tour” in 2025 and take the stage at festivals nationwide.
“Waitin’ on You to Wear Off” solidifies Mason’s place as a rising star in country music and promises more success to come.
