Tiera Kennedy honors her Cowboy Carter moment with a wide release of Beyoncé’s “1+1” cover, now streaming everywhere.

Tiera Kennedy is embracing a full-circle moment with the wide release of her celebrated cover of Beyoncé’s “1+1,” now available across all streaming platforms and DSPs. Previously an Apple Music exclusive shared last June, the soulful rendition marks the one-year anniversary of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter—the 2025 GRAMMY Album of the Year where Kennedy was a featured vocalist.

“Even a year later, it’s hard for me to wrap my brain around the fact that I got to collaborate with Beyoncé,” Kennedy shares. “It’s truly been a dream come true.”

The re-release of “1+1” arrives as Tiera Kennedy continues building on a breakout year. This week, she joined GRAMMY nominees The War & Treaty as the supporting act for their Plus One Tour, which spans major markets across North America throughout the spring.

Her tour itinerary doesn’t stop there. The rising R&B, country, and gospel powerhouse is also confirmed for key festival stages including Stagecoach, CMA Fest, and Vineyard Jam, in addition to her debut headlining performance at Nashville’s Basement East on May 19.

Beyond touring, Kennedy is gearing up for a busy 2025 with new music in the works and the next season of her Apple Music Radio show on the horizon.

“Getting back into the writer’s room has been so refreshing,” she reflects. “The past few years have been a rollercoaster, and I’ve really learned to lean on my friends, family, and faith through it all. Now, it feels like all the roots I’ve planted are blossoming and it’s been so special to write about this season of life. I’m excited for everyone to hear it!”

With a renewed creative spark and the momentum of a major Beyoncé co-sign behind her, Tiera Kennedy’s journey continues to unfold—and it’s only getting started.
