TDJ debuts her self-titled album out June 27, alongside new single “Where Is My Angel.”
Montreal-based producer, vocalist, and trance visionary TDJ has announced her long-anticipated debut album, simply titled TDJ, releasing June 27 via Collection Disques Durs / All Night Long. Alongside the announcement, she has released a new single titled “Where Is My Angel,” offering a poignant blend of trance textures and indie-pop sentimentality.
Written, produced, and performed solely by TDJ, the new track explores emotional disconnection and clarity found on the road. “I needed to feel some kind of clarity out of this unpredictable life path I was embracing,” she reflects. The song’s lyrical core—“I’m drifting through the night / Searching for a sign / Can’t hold on to shadows / Or the past left behind”—rings with crystalline honesty over soaring synth production.
TDJ’s upcoming album reflects her recent musical evolution, integrating hyperpop collaborators like Danny L Harle, Hannah Diamond, and Real Lies across the tracklist. The result leans toward a slower, more emotionally present sound while maintaining the euphoric energy that defines her live sets.
The album—created in between club appearances and international touring—serves as a snapshot of a restless artist finding stillness through creativity. “I felt the need to slow down and really take the time to work on this one,” TDJ adds.
Following her acclaimed SPF INFINI project and appearances at EDC Las Vegas, TDJ positions the artist as a leading force in the future-facing intersection of rave and pop.
