Vienna based trio Sharktank return with “Crash”, the first glimpse of their highly anticipated third album, “3”, which arrives on September 12, 2025. Known for blending synth pop, rap and experimental sampling, Sharktank, Katrin Paucz, Mile Lechner and Marco Kleebauer, expand their palette on this bold new track while keeping the immediacy that has defined their rise.
“Crash” opens with flickering textures, muted arpeggiated chords and Katrin’s ethereal vocal, then swells into a lush, layered soundscape. Minimalistic synths, echoey claps and a driving beat create lift, before giving space to moments of introspective calm. The arrangement mirrors the song’s lyrical focus on emotional vulnerability, longing and surrender.
