Sasha Keable drops ‘act right’ via The Fight Club Records, Sony Music UK, with Beam and Leon Thomas on standout tracks.
British Colombian R&B talent Sasha Keable steps back into the spotlight with ‘act right’, her most visceral and emotionally charged project to date. The new body of work is out now via The Fight Club Records, Sony Music UK, and it arrives with the clarity and courage that define this chapter for Sasha.
Written in the aftermath of a painful breakup, ‘act right’ traces a full emotional arc, moving from anger and despair toward self reflection and empowerment. Sasha’s perspective is direct and moving, and she places the purpose of the project in simple, honest terms. “This project comes from a place of betrayal and heartbreak,” says Sasha. “I felt like if I didn’t make this music I might lose my mind. I made this project for myself, it’s exactly what I needed.”
Vocals remain front and center throughout, with a sound that blends nostalgic R&B with cutting edge soul. The tracklist brings in rising voices who complement Sasha’s presence. Beam appears on the sultry and self assured ‘work’, while Leon Thomas, this year’s biggest R&B breakout, co writes and features on the focus track ‘move it along’. That single channels a confident turning point as Sasha reflects on a past relationship and fills herself with the belief that she is ready to move forward, ring the alarm please.
The ‘act right’ tracklist celebrates range and feeling across seven songs. It includes ‘FEEL SOMETHING’, ‘act right’, ‘can’t stop’, ‘work’ featuring Beam, ‘WHY’, ‘move it along’ featuring Leon Thomas, and ‘heartbeat’. Each title adds a page to the story that Sasha set out to tell, connecting early heartbreak to a brighter, stronger outlook.
‘act right’ lands as a complete statement, bold and heartfelt, and it invites listeners into a space where honesty, melody, and renewal all live together.
