“Heart Attack” merges UK garage, R&B, and emotional energy from Sam Silver, Groovy & Cade Clair.
Sam Silver has teamed up with vocal talents Groovy and Cade Clair on his genre-defying new release, “Heart Attack,” now out via Boom Records. Blending UK garage textures with emotional R&B tones and dance-ready production, the track bursts with intensity from the first beat.
The opening basslines immediately draw listeners into a high-pressure sonic landscape. Groovy’s smooth delivery builds tension over anxious low-end rhythms before the song transitions to its centerpiece—an explosive garage-influenced drop. Cade Clair enters with a contrasting vocal tone, adding melodic nuance to the already charged atmosphere.
“Heart Attack started as a late-night idea in LA and turned into a year-long obsession,” shares Sam Silver. “Groovy brought the Jersey bounce, I ripped the synths, and Cade sealed the deal. The first version was cool—but we knew it could hit harder. When I sent the new drop, Groovy lost it: ‘Bro—we have to get Cade on this.’ And he crushed it. Easily one of my favorite records I’ve touched.”
The video captures the song’s energy in a surreal club world filled with unexpected characters and visuals, including dancers, a mime, a horse-headed raver, and a chaotic climax that echoes the title’s emotional weight.
Groovy adds, “Heart Attack captures its name in every way. The feeling of panic and chaos when let down emotionally triggers physical symptoms. Impending doom, a pit in your stomach… that’s a heart attack, that’s the song.”
