Sabrina Carpenter opens a new chapter with the release of “Manchild,” her latest single via Island Records.

Global sensation Sabrina Carpenter launches her next musical chapter with the powerful new single “Manchild,” out now via Island Records. Continuing her successful collaboration with songwriting powerhouse Amy Allen and GRAMMY®-winning producer Jack Antonoff, “Manchild” deepens Sabrina’s signature mix of sharp lyricism and pop sensibility.

Written by Sabrina alongside Amy Allen and produced with Antonoff, “Manchild” follows a landmark year for the artist. Her 2024 album Short n’ Sweet shattered records worldwide, becoming the first album since Taylor Swift’s to land four Pop Airplay No. 1 singles. “Taste,” the album’s opening track, soared to the top of Spotify’s U.S. chart, dethroning her own hit “Please Please Please.”

All three major singles—“Espresso” (2.2 billion streams), “Please Please Please” (1.4 billion), and “Taste” (1 billion)—joined Spotify’s exclusive Billions Club, further confirming her global influence.

Her GRAMMY® debut was just as noteworthy. Sabrina earned six nominations and won two major awards: “Best Pop Vocal Album” for Short n’ Sweet and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for “Espresso.” She also graced the GRAMMY stage for the first time, performing a medley of her two chart-dominating hits.

“Manchild” signals the continuation of Sabrina’s unstoppable momentum. Following her deluxe album drop, which featured a collaboration with Dolly Parton, and her arena tour debut, this latest release is poised to further cement her position in global pop.

Carpenter continues to break records abroad, including becoming the first female artist to dominate the top three spots on the UK Singles Chart and receiving the Global Success award at The BRITs. With “Manchild,” she moves forward with confident flair and artistic growth.
