“Euphoria” by Royal & the Serpent blends carnival nostalgia and surreal emotion in a sonic fever dream.

Royal & the Serpent returns with a vivid new single, “Euphoria,” now available via Atlantic Records. The track gives listeners a taste of what’s to come from the rising artist’s highly anticipated debut album, set to arrive later this year.

Inspired by a specific moment from pop culture, “Euphoria” channels a vibrant, dreamlike aesthetic. Royal elaborates: “Not to sound so cliche but the song was totally inspired by the show. When we were producing it out we would watch the carnival scene from season 1 over and over again. I wanted this song to feel like being at the top of a ferris wheel and looking out at an orange sunset… or like spinning in circles on the tea cups ride at an amusement park. I wanted it to feel like a fever dream.”

The release follows two recently shared tracks: “Carry Me Home” and “Death Do Us Part.” The latter has surpassed 1 million streams, with praise from Billboard, which included it in their “Queer Jams of the Week,” noting, “Royal & the Serpent is done toying with her sound — she’s found it, and she’s not letting it go.”

In 2025, Royal made waves by contributing “Wasteland” to the Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 soundtrack, later performing alongside Twenty One Pilots and d4vd at The Game Awards. The song’s reception was bolstered by critical acclaim from NME, Spin, and mxdwn.

With “Euphoria,” Royal & the Serpent takes listeners on a sonic trip that’s as emotional as it is exhilarating.
