The track began as a personal tribute for RayRay, who shares: “‘Afterlife’ is a deeply personal track that I originally wrote in memory of my cousin, who passed away from cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The grief… was overwhelming, and this song became my way of processing those emotions.”
