Global star Poppy Announces New Album “Flux” and releases the official music video for “Flux”
The tour which kicks off in late 2021, will see Poppy perform a full European leg in early 2022 with several dates in the UK, Germany, Spain and more. Flux was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (M83, Air, St. Vincent), who had Poppy and her band record live to tape, resulting in an organic feel that feels especially suited to live performance.
The Fluxtour marks Poppy’s first run of live dates since the I Disagree tour was cut short in early 2020 after a hugely successful start in which she performed a slew of sold out shows to the biggest crowds of her career.
The tour announcement is another major step in Poppy’s most monolithic year yet, including last week’s release of the acclaimed new single “Flux,” the recent release of previous album single “Her,” a stunning GRAMMY performance (on the heels of her nomination for Best Metal Performance, making her the first solo female artist ever nominated in the category), and the surprise drop of the EAT – NXT SOUNDTRACK EP, released in a special partnership between the WWE and Sumerian Records.
