Ninajirachi announces debut LP “I Love My Computer”, landing August 8 via NLV Records.
Ninajirachi has officially unveiled details of her highly anticipated debut album, I Love My Computer, arriving August 8 via NLV Records. Alongside the announcement, she’s shared a brand new single titled “iPod Touch,” a vibrant track steeped in digital-age nostalgia.
The album continues to build on the sonic identity that’s defined Ninajirachi’s rise—from her acclaimed 2022 Second Nature mixtape to her girl EDM EP. Known for her ability to craft emotive dance music with futuristic tones, I Love My Computer explores the emotional relationship between artist and machine.
“I’ve spent more time with my computer than any one person, it helped me discover who I am and raised me for better or worse,” says Ninajirachi. “I may never have discovered electronic music without it, because I’m from a town in regional Australia, and it’s not really a place where that exists.”
“iPod Touch,” the latest release, offers a nostalgic callback to early 2000s music discovery, continuing the narrative of previous singles “Fuck My Computer” and “All I Am.” With the latter reaching #1 Most Played on triple j and earning a debut entry in the ARIA Singles Chart, Ninajirachi has cemented herself as a pivotal voice in the Gen Z EDM revival.
Through I Love My Computer, Ninajirachi reshapes the electroclash and dance-pop textures of the early ‘10s with hyper-modern production, bringing virtual dreamscapes into reality.
