Listen to Naomi Sharon’s title track from her new EP “The Only Love We Know,” out May 9 via OVO Sound.
Naomi Sharon sets the tone for her next creative chapter with the release of “The Only Love We Know,” the title track from her upcoming EP arriving May 9 on OVO Sound. The soulful new offering follows her March single “Can We Do This Over” and introduces a matured sonic identity rooted in self-reflection and artistic growth.
Produced by Jordan Ullman of Majid Jordan, the EP marks a shift in Sharon’s narrative—from seeking connection to embracing what it means to let go. Known for her layered vocal stylings and textured sound, Naomi Sharon continues to evolve, drawing from personal experience to shape this deeply introspective project.
“This EP is more about finding happiness within yourself and embracing the positive things in life,” Sharon explains. “If something does not work out, that is okay too. It is about self-love and independence.”
The EP also reflects her early influences, particularly her father’s love of deep house and Buddha-Bar compilations. “That aesthetic and vibe have now been translated into this EP,” she says. “It carries a certain allure… relaxed and sophisticated.”
Born in Rotterdam, Naomi Sharon merges her Dutch and Caribbean roots into a genre-fluid sound that has garnered international acclaim. As the first female artist signed to OVO Sound, her collaborations include work with Noah “40” Shebib, Alex Lustig, and Beau Nox. She was also named one of Spotify’s R&B Rising 2024 Artists To Watch.
With The Only Love We Know, Naomi Sharon invites listeners into a new realm—one of elegance, empowerment, and emotional maturity.
