Mike Sabath, the prolific songwriter and producer behind hits for global icons like RAYE, Lizzo, and Sabrina Carpenter, has shared his latest single, “June.” Released via The Orchard, the track is a heartfelt pop anthem inspired by the birth of his niece.
“June” is a deeply reflective piece that examines life’s beauty and challenges through Sabath’s lens of love and hope. On the inspiration behind the song, Sabath explains, “I wrote this song while feeling the overwhelm of pain in our world and scared for my niece June who was born the day I wrote it. Amidst all of that pain though, there’s still so much beauty and magic, and it’s our responsibility and the responsibility of the next generation to put energy towards that magic and making our shared world better for each other.”
Sabath’s journey as a musician began in Katonah, New York, where his love for music grew from experimenting with toy instruments to performing with his family band.
