Matt Maeson releases “Everlasting,” his first single since 2024, reflecting on personal transformation.

Matt Maeson is back with “Everlasting,” his latest single released via Atlantic Records. It marks his first studio release since his 2024 live record That’s My Cue: A Solo Experience and the sold-out tour that followed. The new track dives deep into Maeson’s personal life changes—getting married, moving from Austin to Nashville, and becoming a father.

The song captures a moment of vulnerability and resilience as Maeson reflects on how these major life events impacted his mental and emotional well-being. “I wrote Everlasting from a very defeated place. I was trying to be a good father, a good husband, a good artist, etc…I was failing at all of it…” he shares. His words resonate with many navigating similar struggles.

Musically, “Everlasting” finds its core in a raw lyrical honesty wrapped around a mantra-like chorus: “Grit your teeth and make us proud. Fake it when you don’t know how.” The single is paired with a music video directed by Matthew Daniel Siskin, available now.

In tandem with the release, Maeson has announced an expansive 42-date tour. He’ll be reuniting with his full band for a 27-show run across North America starting in late September and continuing with 15 European and UK dates in early 2026.

With “Everlasting,” Maeson delivers one of his most emotionally direct and resonant releases yet—one that not only tells his story but seeks to connect with others experiencing similar moments of change and pressure.
