Spanish artist Mario Baro is back with “Amores,” a hauntingly beautiful single that blends the warmth of bolero with the vibrant rhythms of modern bachata. Released through BCHTA Records, “Amores” is available now on all streaming platforms.
Known for his introspective lyricism and smooth guitar work, Baro continues pushing boundaries as one of Spain’s leading bachata pioneers. On “Amores,” he shares, “I didn’t write this song to justify myself. I wrote it to accept that I was also one of those people whose love has hurt others.”
The track, co-written with Pinto Picasso and sP Polanco (who also produced), captures love’s darker edges—those moments of regret and emotional reckoning. With bolero-inspired melodies layered over bachata frameworks, Baro offers a nostalgic yet forward-thinking sound. 
“Amores” follows Baro’s rising success with singles like “Noción Del Tiempo” and “Anónimos,” the latter featured on BCHTA Rising Vol. 2. He is also currently working on his debut EP alongside Latin GRAMMY-nominated producer and BCHTA Records founder sP Polanco.
