Maren Morris expands her ‘D R E A M S I C L E’ era with a deluxe edition featuring four powerful tracks.
Maren Morris has released the deluxe edition of her critically embraced album D R E A M S I C L E, now available via Columbia Records. This expanded version offers four brand new songs that delve even deeper into the themes already present throughout the original project—healing, self-discovery, and bold personal transformation.
In her own words, Maren shared her unexpected inspiration behind the release:
“I thought I was done writing for a bit once Dreamsicle was turned in, but in one week we got a flurry of new songs in the studio that I couldn’t keep contained,” says Maren. “they still felt like they existed within the Dreamsicle universe, so voila! I can’t even pick a favorite because they all deserve their own moment. enjoy a little extra summertime with these four…”
Among the new material is the single “be a bitch,” introduced last week and already striking a chord with listeners for its sharp edge and fearless honesty. Alongside it comes “running”, a track produced by Naomi McPherson of MUNA and Laura Sisk, packed with emotional momentum and powerful lyrics.
Another standout is “in love with me”, a dreamlike exploration of self-worth produced by Maren and Jimmy Robbins. Finally, “earth angel” brings the deluxe edition to a peaceful close, highlighting a grounded sense of connection and inner clarity.
With this release, Maren also launches The D R E A M S I C L E Tour, a journey spanning more than 50 shows across North America, the UK, and Europe. The tour wraps on November 20 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
