“Somebody You Never Touched is based off of the concept that every 7 years, your skin cells completely renew, so in theory, you could be a completely different person, or someone that your ex never touched. It’s a fun song about renewal and transformation, about moving on both mentally and physically!”
This concept is cleverly echoed in the lyric referencing “seven years”—a nod to the human body’s cellular renewal cycle. That scientific fact becomes the foundation for a breakup anthem that celebrates growth over regret.
