Co-written with Grammy-nominated songwriter Anna Krantz—whose credits include Ed Sheeran and Mickey Guyton—“Weird Club” blends glittering synths with Lyra’s dynamic vocal performance to champion the power of self-expression. It follows a huge 2024 that included her No.1 debut album LYRA and a sold-out national tour.
“She, he, they, them – whatever your category, you’re one of us,” Lyra declares. “And in my world, that means you’re iconic.”
The track’s spirit of inclusivity reflects Lyra’s real-life advocacy. As a vocal ally and fearless champion for authenticity, she continues to use her platform to spotlight the beauty in diversity. Her creativity also stretches beyond music—this year, she took on new challenges in the travel series Uncharted alongside Leo Varadkar and Ray Goggins. Set in South Africa’s dramatic Drakensberg Mountains, the show captured Lyra’s willingness to step outside her comfort zone.
“Weird Club” is more than a single—it’s a movement. With her new era, Lyra is inviting the world to be daring, be different, and most of all, be proud.
