Luvcat launches debut album “Vicious Delicious” with a surreal self-directed video and bold theatrical sound.
Luvcat, the underground’s rising siren, has officially announced her debut album Vicious Delicious, set for release on Halloween, October 31, 2025. Leading the reveal is the project’s title track and first single, now available alongside an elaborate music video, directed by Luvcat herself.
The song “Vicious Delicious” blends theatrical flair with biting pop. Influenced by classic cabaret, British rock attitude, and a taste for the dramatic, the single paints a portrait of a dangerously irresistible romance. “Vicious Delicious is a song about a terrible man who tasted like heaven. He was moreish, magnetic, devilishly handsome and danced like Fred Astaire,” says Luvcat. “I was thinking a lot about Sid & Nancy at the time… dangerous, intoxicating love.”
The video immerses viewers in Luvcat’s macabre fantasy world—complete with velvet ballrooms, corseted decadence, and gothic opulence. “As soon as we recorded strings for the single, it took my imagination to a ball at the Addams Family mansion,” she explains. Shot in a haunted hotel in her hometown of Liverpool, the visual combines references to Morticia & Gomez, Moulin Rouge, and classic Hollywood choreography. 
With Vicious Delicious, Luvcat blends camp and chaos into a vivid, immersive aesthetic that redefines theatrical pop. As her Halloween debut approaches, this first taste sets the tone for an album full of shadowy charm and wicked glamour.
