Lorna Reid’s album “I Will Tell Your Story” is now available on vinyl, offering a soulful analog jazz experience.

Scottish jazz artist Lorna Reid continues to captivate audiences with the vinyl release of her 11-track album I Will Tell Your Story, produced by Boo Hewerdine. Now available in a limited edition heavyweight pressing, the album showcases Reid’s signature jazz-blues-soul blend, enriched by timeless analog textures and detailed arrangements.

Praised as the featured album of the week on BBC Radio Scotland’s Iain Anderson Show, it was described as: “This album is simply great, soulful, grown-up song craft.”

Reid’s vocal finesse shines on the title track, which delivers the full spirit of vintage jazz, supported by horns, cabaret stylings, and strong backing vocals from Louise Clare Marshall. This track, like the rest of the album, reflects Reid’s deep immersion in the genre’s classic emotional range.

Having been called “Scotland’s Norah Jones” after her appearance at the Rochester NY International Jazz Festival, Reid’s artistry is further emphasized in this collection. All 11 songs are original compositions recorded across various Scottish studios and finalized by respected industry names Jon Kelly (mix) and Nick Watson (mastering).

The record features collaborations with Swedish multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Ljunggrens, Euan Stevenson on piano, Konrad Wisniewski on saxophone, and Louise Clare Marshall. “Sweet Baby Blues,” released last year, served as the album’s lead single.

Lorna Reid will also bring her album to the stage at Crazy Coqs, Brasserie Zédel on November 16, as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2025.
