In her new debut single “Mejor Que Yo”, Laura shares suggestive lyrics and a catchy rhythm, Laura Strada gives us a taste of what this young, upcoming musical promise is up to.
Laura Strada says: “Mejor Que Yo” is a song about self-love. Loving ourselves is just as important as loving others. I feel that self-pleasure is still considered taboo and not everyone can speak about it freely. At the end of the day, it is the art and value we have towards ourselves that gives us the liberty to explore within. Exploring our body gives us the freedom to choose how and with whom we want to be, being confident in what we want.”
Full of versatility, Laura has an incredible talent that allows her to sing, rap, freestyle and create lyrics with which many identify and with “Mejor Que Yo” she hopes to connect with the masses.
Featured along with the release, “Mejor Que Yo” is accompanied by a video clip directed by Gian and produced by David Vergara Agudero for Container Films that was shot in the artist’s own home during the pandemic. Full of sensual scenes, neon tones and changes of looks Laura interprets “Mejor Que Yo” leaving a lot to the imagination.
The single was produced by Luis Salazar “The Dro1dz” and written by Laura herself alongside Luis Salazar, Kat Dahlia, and Iberé Fortes.
