King Cruff’s “BUNCH” blends bold hip-hop with dancehall flair—produced by !llmind & Don Mills.

King Cruff delivers a genre-crossing summer anthem with “BUNCH”, available now via Tuff Gong Collective/Universal Music Canada. The track fuses hip-hop and reggae elements with infectious rhythm, clever lyricism, and cutting-edge production by !llmind and Don Mills.

Built on heavy basslines and pulsating drums, “BUNCH” is an instant standout—melding fast bars and tongue-in-cheek dancehall references into a witty, high-energy banger.

“I’m very much in my hip-hop bag on ‘BUNCH,’ but I also wanted to bring a sarcastic sense of humour to the lyrics like earlier dancehall songs,” says Cruff. “But as funny as the song is, it’s actually talking about being faithful to your partner… ‘Don’t you know Jamaican men do not cheat’ serves as a reminder that Jamaican men are the original ‘lover mans.’”

The single follows the 2024 release of King Cruff’s debut EP WHAT HAVE I ‘DON, which includes collaborations with Skip Marley, Jag.Huligin, and Stonebwoy. The EP solidified Cruff’s presence as a bold voice within Canada’s expanding hip-hop/reggae landscape.

After breakout performances at SXSW and NXNE, and his JUNO nomination for “FALLBACK” (ft. Runkus), 2025 is shaping up to be a defining year. He’ll be appearing at Festival d’été de Québec, Sommo Festival, and Breaking Sound Brooklyn, and opening for The Roots in Victoria this summer.

With “BUNCH”, King Cruff cements his place among artists bridging cultures and pushing genres forward.
