Kevian Kraemer drops “Tan Lines”, a bright indie pop track celebrating new love in the summer.
Kevian Kraemer continues to shape his unique voice in the indie pop landscape with the release of “Tan Lines”, now available via Atlantic Records. Produced by Michael Kamerman, the single arrives as an upbeat portrayal of summer affection and has already gained notable traction online, with a teaser clip amassing over 268,000 views on Instagram.
The track embraces a light yet emotionally reflective sound that evokes the essence of a fleeting summer romance. As Kraemer describes,
“‘Tan Lines’ is my attempt to capture that unique feeling of falling for someone in the summer – when everything feels a little more exciting,” he says. “I wrote it with a sense of reverence for this person and the rush that comes with newfound love.”
“Tan Lines” also marks a strong close to the artist’s first national headline outing, The Jersey or Mars Tour, wrapping with a special show at the House of Independents in Asbury Park, NJ. The tour featured sold-out stops in New York City and Los Angeles and included several venue upgrades due to high demand.
This moment builds on the success of Kraemer’s recent EP Jersey or Mars, a cinematic and emotionally layered project that includes standout tracks like “Don’t You Dare” and “Rearview.” The EP helped solidify his artistic growth and currently holds over 26 million global streams.
Kraemer’s combination of honest storytelling and engaging pop melodies continues to resonate, positioning him as one of the scene’s most compelling new talents.
