KATSEYE returns with “Gnarly,” a fierce follow-up to their chart-topping debut EP “SIS”—out now.
Following their explosive debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong), KATSEYE returns with a new era-defining single, “Gnarly,” out now via HYBE x Geffen Records. Built on seismic 808s and rave-tinged synths, “Gnarly” captures the chaos, thrill, and overstimulation of coming of age in the digital spotlight.
Produced by Pink Slip, Tim Randolph, “hitman” Bang, and Slow Rabbit, the track leans into the layered meaning of its title—celebrating the mess, the magic, and the extremes of modern life. “We want people to feel the vibes, to really connect with our music,” says KATSEYE. “‘Gnarly’ feels true to us — it’s bold, it’s fun, and it shows a different side of what we’re about.”
The official music video, directed by Cody Critcheloe, premiered on MTV Live, MTVU, and the Paramount Times Square billboards, spotlighting the group’s flair for immersive visuals.
KATSEYE’s rise has been swift and trailblazing. Since emerging from HYBE and Geffen Records’ Dream Academy project, the six-member group—Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae—has earned acclaim from Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times, Interview, and V Magazine while racking up award nominations and major fashion and brand collaborations.
With “Gnarly,” KATSEYE charges forward with fearless energy, delivering a sound that’s mercurial, punchy, and uniquely theirs.
