Josiah Queen shares “Two Wooden Beams,” a reflective new single on sacrifice and love. Watch the official video now.
Following a string of sold-out shows on the U.S. leg of his world tour, Josiah Queen returns with the deeply moving new single, “Two Wooden Beams.” Released alongside a powerful visual directed by Brady Pettee and filmed in Nashville, the track marks a compelling continuation of Queen’s breakthrough year.
Written in collaboration with John Michael Howell, who also produced the track, and Zac Lawson, “Two Wooden Beams” showcases Queen’s raw lyricism and acoustic-driven sound. The song draws upon themes of sacrifice and redemption, anchored by the artist’s spiritual reflections.
“Everything I write is unfortunately a little too true to life,” she explains. “I tried what I think is called a situationship… I hated it. I’ve never been casual about anything and I would have followed her into the depths of hell. So Joyride is basically me saying, I’m all in, please don’t hurt me.”
“I spent a long time searching for love and I finally found it – on two wooden beams where God gave everything for me. His sacrifice taught me that love is much more about sacrifice than it is a feeling,” Queen shares.
The single follows his recent success with “Yesterday Is Dead,” which he performed on national television as part of the 2025 Faith & Friends Easter Concert Series. The track generated Queen’s strongest streaming debut to date and amassed over nine million combined streams and 22 million short-form video views globally.
With more than 400 million lifetime global streams under his belt and a Gold-certified single from his debut album The Prodigal, Josiah Queen continues to build on his rise. He’s also set to join Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake on the Summer Worship Nights Tour, performing in sold-out arenas across the U.S. through August.
