Josh Ross delivers heartfelt storytelling on new single ‘My Side Of Town’ | a reflective look into small-town truths.

Canadian country breakout Josh Ross continues to build momentum ahead of his upcoming debut album with the release of his emotionally resonant new single ‘My Side Of Town’, now out via Universal Music Canada / MCA. The track adds another layer of depth to Ross’s rising career, revealing his sensitivity to untold stories and the emotional weight they carry.

Written by Jimmy Robbins, Seth Ennis, Josh Miller, and Abram Dean, ‘My Side Of Town’ focuses on the often-overlooked perspective in small-town stories. Ross shared, “’My Side Of Town’ was pitched to me and immediately resonated. Small towns talk, and a lot of times, only one side of a two-sided story gets heard. This song is for anyone who’s lived that – myself included.”

The track was teased across Ross’s socials ahead of release, generating excitement among fans eager for its official drop. Produced by Matt Geroux—who also helmed Ross’s JUNO Award-winning EP Complicated—the single promises to be a standout on Ross’s full-length debut album Later Tonight, arriving September 19.

The upcoming album will also feature his U.S. radio #1 ‘Single Again’, along with tracks like ‘Hate How You Look’, ‘Leave Me Too’, and title song ‘Later Tonight’. The 15-track project dives deep into Ross’s signature blend of emotive storytelling and rock-infused country.

Ross recently earned six 2025 CCMA Award nominations and was announced as a performer at this year’s ceremony in Kelowna. With a busy touring schedule that includes performances at major festivals and support for artists like Jelly Roll and Dylan Scott, Josh Ross continues to solidify his place among the most talked-about names in modern country.
