Josh Levi drops “DON’T GO,” sampling Destiny’s Child, and previews debut album “HYDRAULIC”, out this summer.

Josh Levi returns with the striking new single “DON’T GO,” a bold interpolation of Destiny’s Child’s classic “No, No, No,” available now via Raedio/Atlantic Records. The release previews his upcoming debut album, HYDRAULIC, due later this summer.

“DON’T GO” merges nostalgia with a forward-thinking R&B edge, echoing the smooth harmonies of Levi’s Houston heritage while showcasing his contemporary vocal dynamism. With infectious melodies and vibrant energy, the track is positioned as a lead indicator of the sonic storytelling found in HYDRAULIC.

Discussing the upcoming album, Levi shares: “Love, like hydraulics, is a system that lifts, dips, and demands care and maintenance. It reflects the ups and downs in life. Love can also be seen as a finely tuned system of emotions, like a hydraulic car. It soars in moments of joy and dips in the lows, but it takes constant effort to maintain. Similar to a mechanic, I continue to keep myself functional even when the system – my heart/mind – breaks down so that I can always keep moving.”

After captivating audiences with major live appearances in 2024, including a performance at Dallas’ TwoGether Land alongside Summer Walker and Lil Wayne, and touring with Flyana Boss and FLO, Levi is now stepping into a defining phase of his career. With HYDRAULIC, he bridges his roots, resilience, and rising status in modern R&B.
