Jessie Reyez releases “Psilocybin & Daisies,” an introspective new single from PAID IN MEMORIES, out March 28 via FMLY / Island Records.
With PAID IN MEMORIES set for release on March 28, Jessie Reyez continues to roll out new music, sharing “Psilocybin & Daisies,” a track that highlights her signature mix of raw lyricism and evocative storytelling. Featuring an interpolation of Smashing Pumpkins’ 1979, the song was co-produced by SCUM and Warren “Oak” Felder and arrives alongside a live session visual directed by Jon Primo.
Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins shared his admiration for Reyez’s reinvention of his song, saying, “She’s so incredibly talented, and has that effortless, honest quality in her voice.” Reyez herself acknowledges the track’s nostalgic roots: “Thanks to Billy for blessing me. Thanks to The Smashing Pumpkins. Thanks to mushrooms. And thanks to me.”
The album boasts a star-studded lineup, including Ari Lennox, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, and Miguel. Previous singles “JEANS” with Miguel and “JUST LIKE THAT” with Ari Lennox have already earned critical acclaim.
Beyond her solo work, Reyez continues to dominate the industry—earning two 2025 Juno nominations, contributing to the Rebel Moon soundtrack, and performing across major festivals and arenas worldwide. With over 3 billion streams and multiple platinum records, she’s cementing herself as a defining voice in contemporary music.
