G Flip announces ‘Dream Ride‘ out September 5 and unveils emotional new single “In Another Life.”
G Flip is officially steering into a new era with the announcement of their third studio album Dream Ride, arriving September 5 via AWAL Recordings. As a first look into the project, the Australian-born, LA-based artist has released “In Another Life,” a soaring anthem designed for emotional catharsis.
The single is accompanied by a visualizer now live on G Flip’s YouTube channel. Sonically, it captures the feeling of late-night solitude—ideal for driving with the windows down and singing along with abandon.
G Flip shares: “When diving in and writing this record, I was sonically captivated by the 80’s… I also really wanted to make a world to accompany the music and storytelling… The answer is Butch Springsteen, the masc lesbian, non-binary, drumming, singing pop star that never existed.”
Their creative vision draws influence from 1980s instrumentation, Bruce Springsteen’s grandeur, and classic cars. Dream Ride also features previously released tracks like “Big Ol’ Hammer” and “Disco Cowgirl.”
