FLETCHER’s new LP brings vulnerability and catharsis, led by single “Hi, Everyone Leave Please.”
Out now via Capitol Records, FLETCHER returns with Would You Still Love Me If You Really Knew Me? — a deeply vulnerable album that explores identity, solitude, and emotional reinvention. Leading the release is the confessional single “Hi, Everyone Leave Please,” a powerful anthem produced with longtime collaborator and GRAMMY® winner Jennifer Decilveo.
The track unfolds around distorted guitars and textured synths, culminating in a moment of release as FLETCHER sings:
“Hi, everyone leave please / I need a moment to say / Bye to who I’ve been / Hi to who I’m next.”
FLETCHER shares: “‘Hi, Everyone Leave Please’ is a song that has been living inside of me for a long time.”
The full album leans into minimal, raw soundscapes that put FLETCHER’s vocal presence front and center. Songs like “Congratulations!” and “Don’t Tempt Me…” dive into deeper themes: performance, burnout, and the tension between passion and personal boundaries.
As she says:
“It’s a song about me questioning my purpose, within the context of the very toxic relationship between me and the music industry… I started to lose myself in.”
This record marks a turning point for FLETCHER — emotionally uninhibited, musically stripped down, and courageously honest.
