FELIVAND unveils ‘my body’s my true north’, a bold and honest record driven by body-first intuition.

Australian artist FELIVAND returns with the release of her latest album my body’s my true north, an emotionally immersive work shaped by self-awareness, vulnerability, and raw creativity. Out now, the project is accompanied by the announcement of a headline tour taking place from September through October.

The album title itself offers a powerful metaphor. In FELIVAND’s own words:

“When I listen to what my body’s telling me, it feels like an unwavering light at the end of the tunnel, an orienting point. Something fixed like a ‘true north’, while everything else around it spins. When I follow thought, i’m in with everything that’s spinning.”

These words encapsulate the philosophy behind the album: to let intuition guide the way forward, even when the mind complicates the journey.

Therapy played a major role in the creative process. FELIVAND describes the therapeutic experience of realizing that the body stores emotions and truths the mind tries to suppress — a revelation that became the conceptual core of the album. Tracks on my body’s my true north are built from this place of honesty, trading control for flow and intellect for instinct.

Compared to her debut Ties, FELIVAND’s latest work breaks new ground. It’s deliberately less polished, more human, and brimming with emotional truth. Her artistry is more direct, more personal, and deeply aligned with what she feels in the moment.

With this release, FELIVAND invites listeners into a space of radical acceptance, empathy, and emotional clarity — led not by thought, but by the deep-rooted truths our bodies carry.
