Esha Tewari releases final single “waltz” before May 1’s wraith EP, kicks off Australia and North America tours.

Rising indie-folk voice Esha Tewari has released “waltz,” the final single leading into her upcoming EP wraith, out May 1 via all platforms. The latest track adds a reflective touch to the EP’s narrative, joining prior singles “million times,” “empty pages,” “things i want,” and “you were mine.”

Describing the song’s meaning, Esha shares:

“this is the final track of my EP, i wanted to make a little closing statement sort of that leads into my next project. it goes through little parts of nostalgia and growing up, it’s a really special song to me. and maybe might want to make you waltz”.

“waltz” showcases her acoustic sensibilities and lyrical intimacy—hallmarks of the sound that’s driven her rapid rise. The release comes just as she launched her latest Australian tour, which began with a sold-out show at Sydney’s Factory Theatre. The tour will continue through Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, with Adelaide remaining as the only city with limited tickets available.

Tewari’s breakout year continues with the announcement of her North American “wraith tour”, starting July 3 in San Francisco and ending August 9 in Washington DC. High demand has already led to sold-out dates in LA, Toronto, Houston, and a venue upgrade in Atlanta.

Since her debut in February 2024, the artist has earned over 13 million global streams, 805K monthly listeners on Spotify, and a combined social following of over 500K across TikTok and Instagram. Tewari, who affectionately calls her fans Tewarians, has released two previous EPs, i can and better off, with wraith completing a breakout trilogy.
