Don Diablo debuts ‘CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ’ via Monstercat with “Amsterdam”, following sold-out tour.

Don Diablo continues to evolve artistically with the launch of his new alias CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ. The debut single under this project, titled “Amsterdam”, is now out on Monstercat, showcasing a bold new sonic approach. This follows a fully sold-out North American tour, which included performances in cities such as Chicago, Montreal, New York City, Denver, San Francisco, and Toronto.

“Amsterdam” blends cinematic layers with gritty drum and bass and distorted vocals, offering a sound distinct from Don Diablo’s usual four-on-the-floor productions. The track aligns well with Monstercat’s reputation for genre-defying releases and gives listeners a different perspective on the renowned producer’s musical identity.

In his words, Don Diablo said, “I’ve always been a big fan of Monstercat, so releasing my first CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record with them feels like the perfect match. This project has become one of the most exciting journeys for me creatively this year. This new track is called ‘Amsterdam,’ it’s high energy, emotional, and a heartfelt tribute to the city I grew up in and still deeply love. Honestly, this might be my favorite CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record so far.”

Alongside the release, Don Diablo announced a special Paradiso show in Amsterdam on September 19, marking his return to the city since his 2018 sold-out show at AFAS Live. The performance will be more intimate, offering a contrast to his large-scale productions.

This release adds to a standout year for the Dutch artist, including a collaboration with Nelly Furtado, his debut on Sweat It Out, and the celebration of HEXAGON’s 10-year anniversary. With a packed summer ahead including appearances at Sziget, Untold, Medusa, and events in Ibiza and Barcelona, Don Diablo continues to lead with innovation and reinvention.
