Dominic Fike returns with force and vulnerability in Rocket, his new 12-track mixtape released via Columbia Records. Marking his first full project since a personal hiatus, the Florida artist leans deeper into his signature fusion of hip-hop, alt-rock, and confessional storytelling, pulling listeners into a world shaped by reflection and newfound purpose.
The tape finds Fike unfiltered—emotionally direct, sonically adventurous, and creatively fearless. Tracks like “Great Pretender” amplify his diaristic style with raw lyricism, laced over woozy basslines and subtle percussion. Elsewhere, previously released singles like “All Hands On Deck” and “Aftermath” serve as powerful glimpses into his state of mind, blending warmth with layered vulnerability.
The mixtape also comes with a pair of standout visuals. “All Hands On Deck” captures an on-stage moment shared with his son at Lollapalooza—intimate, honest, and full-circle. Meanwhile, the “Aftermath/Smile” video takes a more symbolic route, following Fike through a surreal minefield that mirrors emotional terrain. 
Fike’s recent creative ventures also include a collaboration with Kevin Abstract under the name Geezer, with their self-titled track adding yet another dimension to Fike’s ever-expanding creative universe.
