Demi Lovato has launched the first glimpse into her upcoming ninth studio album with the release of her new single “Fast”. Out today, the dance-pop track is produced by Zhone, whose past collaborations include Kylie Minogue, Troye Sivan and Kesha.
“Fast” marks a significant creative turn, offering fans a vibrant preview of the direction Lovato is taking musically. The single is accompanied by a bold new music video directed by Daniel Sachon. In the visual, Lovato appears free and in command, no longer burdened by past challenges. The video closes with her giving a single look to the viewer, an intentional and self-assured gesture that reinforces the tone of this new phase.
Rolling Stone recently confirmed that Lovato’s ninth studio album is on its way, describing it as “celebratory dance-pop”. The energy of “Fast” aligns with that promise, introducing a sonic atmosphere filled with confidence and movement.
