Daya returns with “Infrared,” her first release in a year, marking a confident new chapter.

Daya marks a new musical chapter with the release of “Infrared,” her first single in over a year. Out now via ONErpm, the vibrant dance-pop track introduces a bold era of creativity for the Grammy-winning artist.

“‘Infrared’ captures this bold, confident bravado while also revealing a sincerity and fragility beneath the surface, which, for me, reflects the feelings of being intimate with someone for the first time,” shares Daya.

The single arrives just before Daya joins Trixie Mattel for a limited tour with stops in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Nashville. Tickets are currently available for the highly anticipated performances.

Daya’s return to the spotlight also coincides with the 10-year anniversary of her debut hit “Hide Away.” Since its 2015 release, the track has racked up nearly 700 million streams and gone 4x Platinum. A recent Alan Walker remix has reignited interest, pulling in over 20 million streams and inspiring 300K+ social media creations.

Her breakout collaboration with The Chainsmokers on “Don’t Let Me Down” further cemented her place in global pop, with over 10 million U.S. copies sold. Now releasing music independently, Daya continues to evolve, balancing dreamlike production with dance-floor-ready intensity.

Fresh from her feature on Dom Dolla’s “Dreamin,” which has climbed to #2 in Australia and is currently at #15 on U.S. radio, Daya is clearly entering a high-impact year. With two major DJ collaborations still to come, “Infrared” is just the beginning of what’s shaping up to be a milestone 2025.
