Multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and producer Daniel Seavey steps into the next phase of his career with the release of Second Wind, his long-awaited debut solo album, out now via Atlantic Records. Executive-produced by Michael Pollack, the 12-track project blends early-aughts pop-rock influences with Seavey’s signature introspective lyricism.

Following years of artistic evolution, Second Wind captures Seavey’s journey toward creative independence. “This album is about a boy desperately clinging on to his youth while life is trying to force him to grow up,” Seavey shares. “It’s a light, warm, and slightly introspective album. Making happier songs helped shift my mindset—I started becoming optimistic again.”

The album includes standout tracks like “Lose Me Like You Mean It” and “Gateway Drug,” which he previewed during a whirlwind year of touring in 2024. His festival debut at Lollapalooza was among the most viral moments of the weekend, and he toured with Benson Boone, Dean Lewis, and others.

Seavey’s career first skyrocketed as a member of Why Don’t We, earning six billion global streams and multiple platinum certifications. However, his 2023 Dancing In The Dark EP established him as a solo artist, with Rolling Stone praising his “impeccable production skills.”

Now fully independent following a hard-fought legal battle, Seavey launches the Second Wind Tour on March 18, bringing his new era to the stage. Second Wind is out now, marking the start of an exciting new chapter.
