Rising 20-year-old Californian alt-pop star CLO Returns with a brand new upbeat single “Real”
Following her latest releases like “Sliding Doors (There You Are)” and ‘Blackout’, CLO says about the new single: “‘Real’ is my favorite song I’ve ever written. The sentiment of ‘Real’ to me is staying authentic, strong and empowered as a young woman navigating my way through LA. I give myself permission to rise from any toxic relationship, hardship or situation. Finding strength through the realization that some people are fake and will want to break you down… But I know who I am and I will come out on top every time. This song really is so special to me. While writing it, I definitely had an ah-ha moment of ‘I am who I am and I love myself. I won’t let anyone tear me down or tell me I don’t matter.’ Very cathartic.”
In june 17, the rising star will make her post-quarantine debut at The Federal NoHo for her first live show of 2021. The new sensation makes her appearance in support of her current releases which include the Warren Huart-produced singles “Blackout” and “Sliding Doors (There You Are).”
Her follow up was a cover of Kanye West’s “Paranoid” released with a BTS video of CLO and her band in the famed Hollywood recording studio, Sunset Sound. To date, CLO has a combined 1 million plus streams on Spotify with over 150K monthly listeners and her YouTube videos have a combined 200K views. CLO recently released the 10-track Blackout Remixes album which landed her a premiere in Dancing Astronaut for BIICLA’s remix of the song. Matt Lange also remixed “Sliding Doors.”
