Chappell Roan releases “The Giver”, a bold, fiddle-fueled country anthem marking a new chapter. Listen now via Amusement/Island Records.

Chappell Roan kicks off 2025 in style with the release of “The Giver”, a roaring country anthem that blends twangy instrumentation with her signature high-energy performance. Out now via Amusement/Island Records, the track follows her 4x platinum 2024 hit “Good Luck Babe!”, proving once again that Roan refuses to be confined by genre.

Packed with fiddle runs, boot-stomping percussion, and a fiery vocal delivery, “The Giver” is a declaration of confidence and persistence. “‘Ain’t no need to hurry, cause baby, I deliver; Ain’t no country boy quitter, I get the job done,’” Roan twangs on the chorus, embracing the genre’s storytelling tradition while making it uniquely her own.

Roan shares, “‘I have such a special place in my heart for country music. I grew up surrounded by it, and “The Giver” is my playful take on ‘cuntry’—a little gay yodel and a lot of fun. I’m not making a country album (yet), I’m just making songs that make me happy.’”
