Carter Faith releases “Bar Star,” a fun, heartfelt preview of her upcoming debut album ‘Cherry Valley‘, out October 3.

Nashville’s rising voice in country, Carter Faith, unveils her latest single, “Bar Star,” out now via MCA. The track arrives alongside a surprise bonus worktape, “Billy Bob Thornton”, and offers listeners a glimpse of her upcoming debut album Cherry Valley, due October 3.

With a blend of playful lyricism and heartfelt storytelling, “Bar Star” paints the portrait of a charming yet imperfect honky-tonk regular. Carter describes him as “the star of the bar—for better or for worse—but damnit, she loves him.” The visualizer enhances the warm, lived-in energy of the song, delivering a vivid narrative through simple, classic country textures.

Carter also released “Billy Bob Thornton (Worktape)” as a spontaneous addition. Speaking on the track, she explains, “I wrote this song about Billy Bob Thornton because I literally love him. I’ve always thought he was so talented, and I’ve wanted to marry many of the characters he’s played over the years… I just had to write about it, and I hope people like this little glimpse into my one-track mind.”
