“Soar,” the final track on Aqyila’s debut album “Falling Into Place”, brings her vision full circle.

JUNO Award-winning Canadian R&B artist Aqyila closes out her acclaimed debut album Falling Into Place with the release of “Soar”—a confident and heartfelt anthem that ties the project together.

Co-written with Maya J’an B and produced by Charlie Coffeen (The Weeknd, Rae Sremmurd), “Soar” is a culmination of Aqyila’s emotional and creative journey. “‘Soar’ puts the final touch on this body of work,” she explains. “This felt like the perfect gift to fans, and perfect way to present this total project. Like the song says – I’m feeling like my intuition never misses, as long as I continue to trust myself.”

Falling Into Place has been lauded by critics and fans alike, with Billboard calling it “a formidable introduction,” and BET declaring that Aqyila is “[cementing] herself among the genre’s greats.”

2024 marked a breakout year for the Toronto native: a JUNO win for “Hello,” viral momentum for “Bloom,” and the standout single “Most Wanted.” She performed at Mahalia’s Jazz Café series in London, headlined her first sold-out hometown show, and presented at the Legacy Awards.

The accolades kept coming in 2025, with a North American tour alongside Pink Sweat$, two additional JUNO nominations—and another win for “Bloom.” Her performance at the JUNO Awards was widely praised.

As “Soar” lands, Aqyila continues her unstoppable rise with a vinyl release of Falling Into Place arriving in May, and more festival dates this summer.
