Emerging London artist Amma steps confidently into the spotlight with the release of her debut independent project Middle Child. Out now via The Orchard, this 3-track EP reflects Amma’s artistic versatility and emotional range, built on years of writing for notable names such as FLO, Nao, IVE, and Sam Feldt. Now, with Middle Child, she reintroduces herself—not behind the scenes—but as a powerful voice in her own right.
The project arrives ahead of Amma’s first-ever live performance at London’s All Points East Festival, where she will be sharing the stage alongside her sisters RAYE and Absolutely. It’s a moment of creative arrival, with Amma presenting herself not just as a songwriter, but as a storyteller ready to connect through personal narrative.
Every song on Middle Child carries a piece of Amma’s journey—tales of love, fear, pride, and hope. Yet, her mission remains outward-facing. “There’s 27 examples of emotions and 8 billion people in the world. That means we’re never really alone in how we feel,” Amma shares.
