Ally Salort unveils debut EP ‘Change of Plans’, blending alt-pop flair with emotional storytelling.
Singer-songwriter Ally Salort unveils her debut EP Change of Plans today via Disruptor Records/RCA Records. The project signals a bold arrival in alt-pop, weaving themes of heartbreak, transformation, and emotional growth into six evocative tracks.
Featuring previous singles like “Tattoo (Selective Memory),” “Before & After,” and “Pretty Face,” the EP also introduces new versions of “Swiss Army Knife” and “Any Way I Can.” From sharp lyricism to haunting melodies, Change of Plans invites listeners into Salort’s world of introspection and clarity.
On the project, Ally shares: “‘Change of Plans’ felt like the perfect title to describe the emotional detour this project takes you through – excitement, confusion, heartbreak, and, eventually, clarity and closure…”
The collection captures the complexity of love and the resilience found in moving forward. With its nostalgic undertones and deliberate vulnerability, Change of Plans showcases Ally’s signature sound and lyrical voice—raw, unfiltered, and deeply human.
In support of her debut, Ally will headline her first shows this August, including Los Angeles’ Moroccan Lounge on August 14 and New York’s Mercury Lounge on August 20. Additionally, she’ll appear at Austin City Limits on October 12, marking a major step in her rising career.
