Alessi Rose releases witty single “Everything Anything” from her upcoming EP ‘Voyeur’, out July 25.
With the release of her third single “Everything Anything,” alt-pop rising star Alessi Rose once again puts her candid songwriting and magnetic vocal delivery at the forefront. Out now via Capitol Records, the track offers a deeper look into her upcoming EP Voyeur, arriving July 25.
“Everything Anything” starts softly, with warm electric guitar and understated vocals, before expanding into a vibrant full-band production. The song explores the confusion and detachment that follows a breakup, with Rose narrating a real experience of an ex moving onto her street. Lines like “Your silence is deafening, I thought you were everything, but you don’t want anything…” reflect the emotional twist of former intimacy turning into distance.
Produced by Couros (Dora Jar, Saya Gray) and co-written by Rose, the single showcases her ability to inject vulnerability and irony into unforgettable lyrics.
Alessi shares, “‘Everything Anything’ pokes fun at the utter absurdity of having someone who you once were so close and intimate with now becoming a total stranger. It’s vulnerable but also deeply ironic and feels like the stream of consciousness, confessional rant you’d share with a friend at a sleepover.”
Following strong previous singles “Same Mouth” and “That Could Be Me,” and a highly praised Glastonbury debut, Rose is building serious momentum. As Voyeur approaches, “Everything Anything” confirms her spot as a bold, emotionally charged voice in alt-pop.
