Adam Ten and Bontan blend global rhythms and electronic grooves in their new single “Hey,” out now on Insomniac Records.

Tel Aviv’s Adam Ten and Liverpool’s Bontan have teamed up to create “Hey,” an innovative track that bridges tribal rhythms with cutting-edge electronic production. Released through Insomniac Records, the single showcases their shared passion for genre-blending and dynamic soundscapes.

“Hey” is a deep, percussive-driven track featuring vibrant djembe and shaker rhythms. These tribal grooves are layered with buzzing synth saw waves, whirring textures, and a hip-hop-inspired hook sung in a West African dialect, resulting in a uniquely immersive listening experience.

Adam Ten has become a trusted name in the underground house scene, praised for his psychedelic influences and culturally diverse sounds. Named by Pete Tong as ‘One To Watch’ in 2024, Adam has delivered an Essential Mix and performed at high-profile events including Burning Man, Fabric London, and Pacha Ibiza.

Bontan, a fixture in the UK house scene, has earned accolades as Radio 1’s ‘Future Star’ and ‘Best Newcomer’ at the DJ Awards. His upcoming schedule includes sets at Space Miami, The Warehouse Project Manchester, and Shelter Amsterdam, along with an Essential Mix debut on November 30th.

Speaking on their collaboration, Bontan shares, “I feel that ‘Hey’ is a perfect blend of us, with a tribal groove. I met Adam in Miami when we played Space the same night. After hearing him live, I felt like a fusion of our sounds would make something special.”

“Hey” is available now on all streaming platforms.
