Above & Beyond’s Tranquility Base Vol. 2 EP delivers five trance-inspired tracks, now available via Anjunabeats.
GRAMMY-nominated trio Above & Beyond have unveiled their latest project, Tranquility Base Vol. 2, a five-track EP that showcases their mastery of trance and club-ready sounds. Released via Anjunabeats, the EP builds on the momentum of its predecessor, Tranquility Base Vol. 1, which saw tracks like “Angry JP8” and “500” claim the #1 spot on the Beatport Trance chart.
The EP’s release follows Above & Beyond’s extensive global tour, including stops in Brazil, Canada, the UK, and the US. Highlights of Tranquility Base Vol. 2 include “React,” a bassline-driven single released on November 1, and “Another Breakdown,” a euphoric trance classic dropped on November 20. These singles have already made waves on dancefloors around the world.
The remaining tracks demonstrate the trio’s versatility and dedication to innovation. “Hackney Siren” blends trance, acid, and breakbeat elements, layered with piano chords reminiscent of 90s house. “From Grey To Light” takes a more experimental approach with trippy acid basslines and layered melodies, while “Chasing Highs” delivers a nostalgic nod to the early 2000s club era. 
Debuted live at events like Group Therapy 600 in Mexico City and Dreamstate SoCal, the EP captures the energy and creativity that have made Above & Beyond a household name in electronic music.
